Bend weddings are beautiful, but can be expensive. We are wedding rental experts and have a few tips to help you save on your big day.
1) Choose Rectangular Tables
Although round table rentals are typically seen as the “friendlier” table, if you are looking for ways to save choose rectangular tables.
TIP: You can fit several more rectangular tables in a smaller amount of space than you can round table rentals. This means you can also have a smaller tent rental. We’ve seen brides cut there tent rental fees in half by simply choosing rectangular tables. The other perk, is you save a few dollars per table between the linens and the table being less expensive than their round counterparts.
2) Tell Your Caterer To Forget The Portable Bar
Although the thought of a portable bar is dreamy, they really are not practical and can be expensive. The day of your wedding, people will not spend time sorting your beverages for perfect placement under a 6ft wide portable bar when they could be helping with wedding decor. Instead, they will throw boxes of wine and decor under the small bar before realizing they really need more space.
TIP: Order 6 or 8ft rectangular table rentals and black floor length linens. Not only will the tables look sleek with their floor length linens, but you can configure them into a U or L shape to give the bartender plenty of counter space. The bartender will also quickly realize they can place all those boxes of beverages under the covered tables and out of sight. No sorting needed here…
3) Use Square 90X90 Linens on Round Tables
If you choose to order round tables, another way to save some cash is to order 90X90 linen rentals instead of 90′ round linen rentals.
TIP: You will save a few dollars a table by opting to rent square linens for round tables instead of perfectly round linens. The linens still have a nice look as long as they are positioned correctly. Be sure to line the corners of the linen up with the legs of the table. This way, the linen will hang long at the legs and rise where people sit.
